Can't catch a break!!! P0231 codes

Well, I am thinking I need a horse and buggy or an unlimited supply of money!

Ok, so I have been fighting the fuel gauge not working, so I replaced the sending unit. No go.

So onward we go. I pulled some fuses and found them all to be good, but very corroded! Just horrible. Damn windshield is leaking.

My cure-disconnect the battery, disconnect power supply to fuse box, take pictures of fuse box, remove every fuse and relay. Spray, DeOxit into fuse box as directed. Replace every fuse with a new fuse! Yes a New Fuse!

Hook up power to fuse box. Hook up batteries. Turn truck on. Now fuel gauge is working! Hurray, hurray!

Uh oh. Truck not starting. Turns over well, idles for brief sec at most, dies.
Check sct Livewire, new code never seen before. P0231.

Now what? Truck was running fine before I did the fuse box. #40 fuel pump fuse is good, idles brief second, dies like not getting fuel.

Any ideas? Am frustrated, don't want a government motors, or cummins, but this ford? And being in a wheelchair makes this even more of a pleasure to tackle.

Well that code says....
P0231 DTC code - low voltage on the fuel pump secondary circuit.

Maybe need a new fuel pump..... or check the voltage going to the pump first.... since you were checking the fuses
