Try orange juice to quit.

Quit smoking before bed. First thing in the morning drink about 6 oz oj. Then for the next 3 days sip an ounce or two of oj every hour through the day. Remember to do the bigger amount of oj first thing in morning. You will not get the light headed symptoms.

You just have to fight the habit part of smoking with this method. If you need to do the oj more days then do it.

I quite after 23 yrs and I have tried every new thing to quite smoking. A pack a day , if drinking 2 packs, and if going fishing 3 packs.
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

StanlyZ,
You weren't in Connecticut were you, that's exactly what my rig does. Like I said before, people who I know that got caught up in the cloud said the same thing, chocking, smelly and just plane nasty!
I just got my truck back from the dealership today and they monkeyed around with the computer and reset it. Lets see how that works.

If it does it every regen I'd say something is fishy, if it does it every once in a blue moon I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

I noticed that mine did it once..
It was winter, I was in the city, and I was in traffic.
That is the only time it ever did that.... the white smoke, and stink.
I think the 6.4's just aren't that good at doing a regen unless you're on the highway.

Thats why I never recommend a 6.4 to anyone who plans to use it in town lots, without a tuner and deletes.

Last time in Connecticut was the summers of 1957 and 58. I picked tobacco all summer for 66cents an hour and room and board. The truck I saw smoking was in Georgia. I don't think figuring out what makes the trucks smoke is hard at all, does anyone who has deleted and tuned their truck have smoking issues? Not counting Bubba who has different smoking issues.
