Dash Gauges
good evening. i have a 1951 ford f1. its converted to 12 volt and i am almost finished rewiring the whole truck.
the last piece of the puzzle is the dash gauges. can the original gauges be converted to 12 volt as well? i have a 6 volt voltage reducer that came with my 12 volt kit, but if i dont need to use it, i wont. i have enough wires, relays, etc. under the dash, and if i can get the gauges converted, that would be great.
if it is possible, what about the fuel tank sending unit? can that be converted too?

that helped thank you. one other question, between the turn signal indicators, there is a red film with a light behind it. what was that used for?
