2000 Ex tranny vibration
Pick up a 2000 EB expedition last week with 40,000 miles. After I drove it 250 miles noticed a vibration when down shifting from OD and a skip or studder when shifting up from 2nd to 3rd. The dealership gave a 30 day/1,000 mile power train warrenty. They said there is no problem with the tranny and did agree to a tranny service - mainly a flush. It does seem to be shifting better but now at 3rd gear and 30 mph it feels like I driving on light speed bumps.
Any ideas on what the trouble could be?
This is my 1st Ford so be gently with me.

Welcome to FTE! 
I'm not sure, but I believe it was a problem with the torque converter.
From what I can recall, a flush (or several) can get rid of the problem, but on some trucks the TC got lunched big time, and had to be replaced.
See if you can get some sort of extended warranty from the dealer. If the TC deep sixes itself, you'll be happy to have it covered.
