Thank you. But why and how is it refilling itself after sitting for an hour.
Good question . Makes little sense that it would " refill " itself . The only thing I could think of is a vacum or pressure expansion issue . I don't like either of those thoughts on this system .
Exhaust Back Pressure Valve. It sits under your turbo and is designed to expedite cold weather warm ups by increasing back pressure. It is the same thing as Bill talked about a post above.
Yeah Im a little slow not thinking alot going on. I just explained that one to bill. You would think being a heavy machinery mechanic, a powerstroke would be easy. But this thing is making me feel like a moron.

And all these fuel issues just started after sitting for about 3 months
Are you sure it's not coming from the turbo housing itself? Have you checked the turbo for shaft play?
Yeah no shaft play, oil in the turbo. When i had it all apart i took it to my friend who owns an import shop and had him go through it. And before it didnt either.
If you're certain that's where it's leaking from, you may have to pull the turbo back off to inspect everything closer. Could be something cracked, or one of the o-rings got cut or pinched.

Yeah thats what im thinking, can i run like a pedestal delete. And just run oil lines like a normal turbo?
Ok thank you for the help, would that also be the reason for the ipc code? And how do i fix the algie thing?
Ipc code will set if low on oil . Low oil will also cause no start and running issues because of air in the system . Fix the oil issue , clean the tank and screens . Ck all fuel lines .

With out the pedestal, there is no way to mount the turbo. The only way to do that I think would be to go with a T4 style mount with different up pipes and turbo. That would be expensive! I'd just try to find and fix the leak. LOL!
True. But i always go crazy. Hondas and small blocks, just hang them off the headers. Why can't i just set it on top. Maybe build two legs for the front. And run two steel braded lines from the block to the turbo?
