Compatible Injectors

I have an 89' F150 with a 351 Windsor from a 1990 Crown Vic.

Im going to change the injectors which currently have the stock number E5TE-B1B. My question is, what are the compatible injectors that will fit in this engine? I do not want to upgrade, i would just like to keep the stock injection pressure.

Read the injector rebuild guide in my signature. Following that you can rebuild your current ones for ~$25.

Thanks for that, I will definently consider it. I would however like to replace them with new. Any charts or lists for compatibility?

As long as your current injectors look like what I showed in that write up, these will work:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ac...rd/model/f-150

That write up also has a list of the Ford vehicles that should use those type of injector, Just make sure that when your looking at new ones you look at ones that are 19lb/hr.

Thanks, I was worried that the E5TE-B1B number had to match.

No that number on the injectors is just a date code, these things were manufactured right up past Y2k so as long as you put back 19lb/hr(yellow top) injectors for a Ford you're good.

Ony if you can find some that have the correct flow rate. I believe the 4.9 uses smaller (flow rate) injectors. Throwing larger ones in would cause it to run rich.
