Sweet! I'm jealous. It's in better shape and more complete than Mine!
Yea JEFFFAFA, you wouldn't believe its shape!!! I was told it has a 390 in it and wouldn't that be so awesome if it was original motor too. I also told it has like 250k on motor so that is a good possibility!! I will try to identify the motor and at the very least get the numbers on it maybe to help.
The remaining parts of truck are just so clean its hard to believe especially when I got it for $1400. Maybe to others that is a lot but not a rust free truck!!!
F25 = F250
H = 390 cid v8
R = Made in San Jose
H74103 = Consecutive unit number. It was made in March of 1970
If you provide the entire VIN tag, we can provide you more info.
Where might one find the remaining VIN tag? on door which can be switched out but I do know the VIN on door matches the title and I do not recall seeing a warranty tag in glove box. So I'm clueless to know where to find this information????
I will also over the weekend take many more photos and post them as soon as I can. My plans are to put this truck back to original as I can and show it very soon!
You are so stoked! I just picked up a 68 f250 CS last month. I love it. It's a San Jose built truck also, black plates, 75,000 original miles, had a camper on it entire time so bed is in scratched. Your '70 is sweet! Congrats.

Yea how can you tell about my excitement! I just can't get enough after letting my 1961 F250 4x4 Frankenstein Monster sell off I found this the same day and went and bought it immediately! Almost lost it too guy who was working deal with me happened to be the roommate of original seller! I text phone number and he said if you want it call me so I said what the hell I called and we worked deal and I said tomorrow I will be at your house by 9am. So I wake up that night at 2am with a voicemail from the guy. Said screw it check it in morning and thought to myself damn its gone. I listen to voice mail and sure thing I guess a guy in his housing community offered full price $2000 but couldn't buy it until that afternoon. I immediately called roommate again and said no don't sell it I'm on my way lol. So yep here it sits in my driveway rust free compeletly solid be with no dents and no rust just like said yours had.
