Ok, so I just had the drivers side ball joints replaced when I got my tires and alignment about a month ago. Since then the drivers side squeaks horribly on any and all bumps, including just driving down a slightly bumpy road. This would happen before the new ball joints, but got muc worse.
I'm also having noises from the rear suspension. On bigger bumps (speed bumps, pot holes, etc), there is a lound clunk. This also happens on hard acceleration from stop.
The truck is a 99 F250 SD, super cab, long bed 2wd.
Any thoughts or ideas would be awesome, since this is driving me nuts. Thanks.
The front sounds like sway bar bushings. I spray WD40 on them and see if it quiets down. If it does, I would recommend replacing them. The clunk could be numerous things but I'm guessing that's the driveshaft slip joint. Very common in the SD forum there is a link on how to regrease it
