Fuel delivery issue!!!
Ok guys I bought a 97 F250HD with a 351. It has the dual tanks and I can run on the back tank with no problems, when I switch to the front tank I can only run for 2 or 3 miles and the engine cuts out, check engine light comes on. It loses all power but when I switch back to the back tank it runs just fine, I switch back to the front and another 2 miles its cuts out again. The dealer I bought it from replaced the front fuel pump. I know this cuz he left all receipts for any repairs in the glove box. I know the mechanic who installed the parts and trust him. Can anyone shed any light on my issue here please?!

Had a brand new airtex pump do this to me. Yanked it out and got a new one from the dealer ........ expensive but works fine. I had the tank cleaned also because the front pump had been dead a long time and the tank was ugly inside.
