Joined a cpl weeks ago but have been so busy havent had time to post a pic of my pickup, so here it is.....94 F350,turbocharged,rebuilt e4od, 350,000 miles,it runs and drives(I drive it daily) but it's a project. Its had a hard life but I like it so Im gonna go through it front to back and put it back together. Been reading here as Im in the middle of making the brakes safe (rabs valves rule woohooo!!!.....not so much) than im gonna start looking for another engine to get started on to replace this one when it pops....I need some interior pieces and a steering column as well...will post more pics of the truck and progress as I have time to work on it and get pics on here.
Great site,
Marvn
That's a nice truck! If that one's had a hard life then mine must have been driven through the bowels of Hades by Satan himself after he got in a fight with the ol' lady.
LMAO!Thanks, its a really nice 20ft truck. Just things I find while I'm crawilng around checking things out. Ill post some of the things Ive found when I take pics of them. I was under it checking the front driveline...its dusted, theres so much slop in the splines Im suprised it is still together...thinking about a f250 driveline because I read they are longer? While checking that I looked back and saw some brackets welded on the rearend that looked like some sort of traction bar bracket and sure enough there were matching brackets welded to the frame. Has 5in exhaust that sounds fantastic I think. The cdr valve just has a hose pointing down because it has some sort of aftermarket conicalfilter on it and theres nowhere to plumb that hose into which Im gonna remedy because it smokes alot when sitting lol. Ive been doing a bunch of reading here and any issue Ive had sofar has been covered in my searches.....
Thanks,
Marvin
Thats a nice truck, I need to get pics of mine posted just so you know what a used truck is. If you need shifter parts they are easy to find they will interchange clear in to the 2000s
