Johnsjsj,
Yes, there are vendors that make replacement doors, door bottoms (inside and out) but I'm traveling and won't be able to tell you who. There are also several vendors that sell used doors. I've been trying to find a drivers door locally for about 3 months and may end up having to order from one of them myself.
They make replacement 53-55 doors but I have not seen a 56 yet. As for panels a number of venders sell these.(Mid-Fifty,LMC) Like BJ mentioned a nice rust free used door is great if you can find one, the supply of these are thinning out.
Tempforce,
I was just in San Antonio at Lackland AFB! One of my Grandsons just graduated Air Force basic training there. I'm sick I didn't get this while I was there.
darn…. i know where there is one in az as well. but that's a bit more of a drive…
where is your grandson transferring to? he should have leave after his advanced training… and if things haven't changed, he is allowed to have a vehicle now… if a door would fit into his ride…he could grab it on the way home on leave…
just an idea..
