Ford generally doesn't use red & black wires like that, one of the reasons why I said it doesn't look factory.
If you can tell us the color of wires in the harness the thing is attached to we can probably tell you when it has power and what size fuse protects the circuit, but not much more. Probably a pic of where & how that thing connects to the harness might help, too....
I cant really get a good photo of where it goes into the harness but there is a ford factory label that has the numbers 14334-BA on it googled it and there are multiple wire asy with this tag but nothing stating what it is?
I saw that by google as well. But there were also prefixed numbers with it. Ill pm number dummy this thread link. He is a know everything about stuff like this from what i have read.

You omitted the 4 digit prefix from this Ford ID engineering number, post what it is, cuz it's impossible to identify it without prefix.
Once I know the prefix, I'll give you the Ford part number, what the puppy is for and its applications.

It looks similar to one that was on mine. I'm not where I can check right now as the old dash is in Newport News and I am in Exmore, 1 1/2 hours and 2 bridge tunnels away from it.

Gee whiz, I don't see a red or black wire anywhere!
