Neutral Safety Switch

Can someone please tell me where the neutral safety switch is located on a 1972 F-100 ford truck, and how do you replace it? Thanks!

My '83 never had one, but I'd expect it to be on the transmission (neutral safety) or on the clutch pedal (clutch safety).

i think its on the bottom of the steering column below the brake pedal .

It's a tight fit to get yours hands on it..
