Highboy MPG

Just curious to y'alls thoughts. My 77 highboy with the original 351m and 35" AT's get roughly 9.2 mpg at highway speeds. I'm thinking about rebuilding it with some different parts for performance and gas mileage. I'd start with rebuilding the motor to roughly 1 HP/cubic inch. Not sure if I'd stay with 351 or swap in 400 crank or maybe even stroke to 434. I would then add a gearvendors overdrive, full free flowing dual exhaust, electric fans, full multi spark ignition, and ez-efi (or something similar). What do you think would be my optimum mpg with this set up? Anything else that could do in to help my cause?

I would say getting 9.2 with the current 351M and 35's set up is real good. Making the 351M into a 400 and opening up the intake and exhaust along with that GV should help alot.

You current gearing/tire size might be something to think over too.
