I would recomend getting some kind of inertia switch to kill the pump if you get in a wreck. not as important as having one on a gasser but still you dont want fuel spraying everywhere if you smash it up. i dont know if you buy them new or get them from a junkyard or what.

I got mine from a '94 F150 parts truck I have. I wired it between the battery power and relay. With the OPS, if the engine shuts off, even with the key still in the on position, the pump will shut off due to no oil psi. But it doesn't hurt to have another back up safety device in place.
Like I was telling Bill, that's the one draw back to having everyone help on my truck. Some things I have no idea are in there now! Lol. However, I'll take that over not having e fuel and a broken trans...
