Quick temp fix for radiator?

I have a small crack on the driver side radiator tank along the front edge were its tabbed down. Its about 4 inches along and its high enough above the water pump that it loses little water and the engine still runs cool. But summers starting to heat up, and I would like to make sure it lasts 2 weeks or so until I get payed again. Is there anything I can do? The radiator stop leak stuff didn't help much. Can It be siliconed(high temp stuff) or glued, maybe with some epoxy? Like I said before, this is a temp fix, till I have a few spare bucks for a new one. I have an 87' F-150, I6 with a 2 row radiator.

There's no good way to fix the plastic tanks. Buy a lifetime direct replacement as soon as possible.

I've had good luck with Alumaseal (I think that's what it's called), the silver powder in the ~1" round by about 3 1/2" long tube. However, I've never tried it on a radiator with plastic tanks. One word of caution here; I've had the stuff fail unexpectedly and when it did the seam between the tank and the core unzipped about 10 inches. However, it did take maybe 6 months for this to happen. The engine had only been running for about 1 1/2 miles on a cool morning too. Just beware.

Quick temp fix for radiator?

if you can find a can of wynn's cooling system stop leak put it in. thats the stuff they put in after a cooling system flush with the machine they hook up to your radiator hose to flush out all your old coolant. i have seen this stuff seal a leak that was running and spraying water out of the radiator. it sealed it good. its made from ground up cactus. go to shop's that have the wynn's flush service and ask to buy a bottle of the stop leak. they might sell you one. thats the best thing you can do to fix it for now in my opinion.
