Gentlemen,

For the past 2 years I have been a part of this great online community. It has been a real big part of my life but now my life has changed.

As you all know, I moved back to Hawaii . This means that I do not spend a whole lot of time in the house. My computer time has gone to just about zero. That; coupled with the fact that my motherboard got trashed on the trip over and I have not fixed it yet doesn't help...

I cannot begin to to tell y'all what this place has meant to me. Maybe most of you guys out there already know what I'm talking about though...

So, it is with great sadness to say that this will most likely be my last post.

My Excursion is in the process of being sold and my wife gets to choose the next vehicle. (She has this thing for a .... *gasp* ... Toyota Sequoia!!) Anyway...that was the deal.

Thank you all for the knowledge I've gained, the opportunity to be a part of this whole thing and of course the many gut-wrenching laughs that I know we've all shared. It wouldn't be fair to single out each and every person, (I know I'll forget someone) so each of you that have had dialogue with me know that you are in my thoughts.

And speaking of thoughts...If ANY of you ever have a THOUGHT of coming to the Big Island, PLEASE look me up. I would love to meet up with you, maybe help you get some good deals hotels and what-not.

It in fact saddens me to hear that you will no longer be with us.
I enjoyed your humor, and you online friendship, and I can say if it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't of stuck around.
When I was a newbie, you were very kind and considerate.
I thank you for your help and putting up with our humor.
You made a great Mod, and gave us the freedom to write what we wanted, but also kept us in line when needed.

Well, I can relate to both the "no time" and the "no Super Duty" issues. But, I still manage to find a little time to come here in fellowship. Hope you can too.

That is exactly right. You are what kept me finding time to check the boards. I wanted to be like Monsta. I suddenly wanted a bike... and a bus... and I even considered adopting... It got to be some kind of weird infatuation... I even bought a pair of speedo's... Not good.

We'll miss you! Have a Happy Birthday this June 19th... 42 isn't it? See told you I had a problem!

Unacceptable. Nobody can say they don't have time to get online once a week.

We will have a thread entitled "Monsta." This thread will be for questions we have for you and for you to keep us...(Matt especially) informed about your doings and how things are going in Hawaii. That way if you don't have time to check everything that's gone on in a week you can just check your thread. It will soon be the longest ever and if there's a limit it will become Monsta II, Monsta III and so on.

When I joined the forum I didn't even own a Ford. I wanted one and I joined for the sense of community I found here. This is a great group of guys and you can't use the reason that you don't own a Ford. The name is Ford truck enthusiasts Forum. You can still be an enthusiast. Besides you will buy another one. It's like an addiction

I'm gonna go start my new thread.

Most of us will never know all the "behind-the-scenes" help that you've provided, Ken. I know I'll be eternally grateful. I understand if you no longer have the time to be a moderator, but I hope you will at least drop in now and then and say "hi." You've become too much a part of FTE to just disappear. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.

Hey Ken, best wishes. We will miss you for awhile, till you return. There is no known cure for FTE. Once you have been expossed to it your forever hooked, sooner or later they will return. Your sense of humor coupled with your knowledge of these 3 ton beasts has kept a lot of around just to see what you'll come up with next. It had to be someone with fairly broad shoulders to keep smiling with all the school bus jokes, one liners regarding your sister (by the way what ever happened to her, YETI?) and dealing with all the slightly fractured personalities around here.
Most moderators would have kicked a lot of us off their boards a long time ago, that's have the fun of this place, the humor. You have set a standard that will hopefully be held to, other wise there will be trouble in wounderland!
The work you did on the FAQ page and everything else was and will be appreciated for quite some time. Now with all that out of the way a YOTA! Come on man...........
Oh yea, by the way, you will be missed, Aloha to you and your family, and may your new adventures be as succesful as this one.

Wow - didn't know that my "I miss monsta" thread would turn out like this, but I am happy you are enjoying life - that is what counts. Thanks for sheperding the flock here at FTE and enjoy the new casa. We'll miss 'ya, Sequoia and all!
