No Throttle in drive or reverse
My son in-law is working on his 2004 F250 6.0 King cab the truck as no throttle response at all in drive or reverse only park or neutral and in park or neutral it seems to be sluggish, the truck sat for about 7 months it had a bad ficm it has been replaced. It starts but kind of hard, we have cleaned the turbo and replaced the HP oil pump he has also installed a EGR delete and new oil cooler. The truck also looks to have a small amount of white smoke at idle and a good amount of black smoke when you rev it up.
We do get codes but from the EGR it's gone and a few power contribution codes but when we hook the EGR back they go away but still no throttle, and by no throttle I mean you can hold your foot to the floor and nothing just idle.
I am out of resources so here I am.
