When I got my 97 Expedition some of the illumination lights were out in the instrument panel. I took it apart and replaced all of the backlight bulbs. 3 were blown. Put it back together and the same 3 are still out. Any ideas how to track down the problem?
Got it working. Forgot to mention they were LED replacement bulbs also. Just had to bend the wires a little more so they made better contact. I'll have to see how well it lights up tonight. I can get pics if anybody's interested.

I am interested in seeing the LEDs. There have been a few posts on this, so please add.
I didn't do all of the bulbs in the whole instrument- just the ones that light it up at night. I used white bulbs and they appear blue. Also the dimmer works but doesn't turn them completely out. I'm pretty happy with them- they're not overly bright and can be dimmed quite a bit if need be. I just hope they live up to their 20,000 hour life expectancy as that's the main reason I got them- so I don't have to do it again . I'll get some pics tonight after it gets dark. Sorrry I don't know why it's putting the links up there twice.
The camera makes the lights appear brighter than they are. Also I don't have the rest of the dash put back together yet which is why you can see the light around the bottom and top.
