Guess what Im getting at is the wrong Cap/Filter will let Garbage into the HPO system and Kill IPR
I would pull filter and crank to see how fast oil filter housing fils up
If fills fast then move to HPO System
Have you ever changed the STC standpipe or dummey plgs??
so are there different size ford filters and caps. iv been getting my filters from walmart. the only work that has been done under the hood sence i got the truck is the FICM sent off to ed at FICMrepair.
i dont know if the STC, standpipe or plugs were done before i got the truck but i have not done it. i was taking the truck to a dealer for oil and filter changes and fuel changes up untill about august last year when i wanted to go to retella t6 and also done a dose of revx at that time. i have done 2 changes sence and will be doing another one in a couple weeks.
i have to keep my truck on the road right now because we will be dropping the wifes car off at the body shop tomorrow for hail damage and she will be driving my spare ride.
im back home now and the truck has been sitting sence yesterday so its cold. i can go out and get some values from scangauge. what all would you like for me to get?
The design of the oil filter, cap and housing involve a flow back valve for the oil. Improper filter and/or cap CAN cause damagebecause the valve won't close thus oil bypasses the filter and, well you can imagine.. Dieselfiltersonline.com offers ford filters (made by racor, who makes them for Ford) at good prices vs local dealer.
Fuel and oil filters should ONLY be OEM. likewise the stock air filter system is much much better than a cold air intake..
So now you need to get it to normal temp and do Low Idel and High Idel (2500rpm)
I had it at about a 4 second crank time I read somewhere the other day 4-5 sec is Normal
But it used to Fireup Faster Didnt it so get the numbers when Normal temp is reached
you know i read the same thing about 4-5 sec was normal but i cant remember where i saw that. but yes it was faster than this. did you watch the video? what did you think about how long it took to start? i need to run to town right quick anyway so ill get readings when i return.

When you take the Hot Reading at Low Idel and High Idel (2500rpm) any leak will showup
it mainly is worse when it sits for 15 minuts or so. an hour after shutdown it starts like it does cold just a little smoother. but like 15 minutes after shutdown its the longest and also is weird starting too. like the starter is turning normal then once you hit the 600 psi then its gradually starts fireing injecters. kinda hard to explain. its just realy uncomfortable feeling when it starts like that.
Hots and Grounds and maybe even clean the Starter terminals the Big one
What Im getting at is the HPOP is Gear Driven and if the Starter isnt quite spining Engine as fast as before this problem it Might be taking a few seconds longer to build the required amount of HPO to Start. DIrty cable connections may Hinder Power Supply
Also kinda common for the A/C Compressors to Seize
Normaly they Seize and Develop a No Start
Maybe yours just drags alittle and holds starter back alittle IDK
These are Sorta Long Shots^^^But never know
Here the info for HPO Air test I have my Doubts about this Only since your HPO Numbers Look GOOD when Hot but who knows
HIGH PRESSURE OIL AIR FITTING SIZE FOR THE AIR LEAK TEST
M14x1.5 to a #4JIC fitting for 03 and early 04
M12x1.5 to a #4JIC fitting for late 04 and up
