Hi all, I am new to the website. I have a 96 f250 that stopped running on me. I was on my way to work and going about 50 when the vehicle started to lose power. When I would go up any type of incline the truck would slow down, then when I hit the accelerator pedal the truck did not react. I then coasted down to a side road and when I stopped the truck shut down. It would not start back up and still wont, it just cranks.
The IPR valve is new
The glowplugs, uvc wiring harnesses, and the GPR is new
The CPS is new
New ICP
New Fuel Filter
I have 40 psi at the Schrader valve
I hooked up my scan tool and I have around 2500 psi from the ICP and the engine is cranking at around 175 RPM. I am not getting any smoke from the exhaust either. I would appreciate any suggestions, I am getting quite frustrated with this issue.
Thanks, Dustin
I was out looking at PIDs while cranking on the truck and I had the ICP, RPM, Fuel Injector PW. The highest the ICP got was 390 PSI, the RPM got to 201, and the PW was at 44%.
I then took the IDM relay out and cranked it again and I got a little over 2000 PSI and the rest were the same. I know the engine needs a minimum of 500 PSI from the ICP to start. It sounds like it wants to start and is getting close.
