Well it looks like it is trying to clear up here. I need to figure out what is wrong with my Cub lawn tractor as to why is will not start. My lawn is getting a little on the loooooooong side.

could be fuse on the solenoid, you have to open the plate under the steering wheel on my Murray.
Second problem I run into, the switch under the seat wears out after a while.

If it was the switch under the seat, it would not even crank. I am hoping to dig out the schematics on it tonight to try and figure out what it may be. The dealer stated that they have seen several cases where the ethanol in the gas that we have has damaged the rubber seals and gaskets in the carb. I did also notice that the foam pre filter was missing some very large chunks and there was no evidence of it under the air cleaner cover. I am wondering if I had some mice under the hood this winter and they caused some damage to the wiring.
