Mostly the community of dos vientos. There are two major heads, so I moved between the two.

Yeah. I was there when they were burning it off near the tail end of the backfire operation.

Missy took this earlier today. Was impressive watching the helos land at Camarillo airport to refill (after work). Then saw more Cat D9's Rollin' in on flat beds. Nice Chebby for sale too.

10,000 acres as of this mornings report. 924 pairs of boots on the groud, more in coming.

Trying to get ahold of my dad to find out if he's been sent down here. I've seen a few crews but not his.

My dads working in the Sycamore Canyon area last I heard, Hes been on since 2 pm yesterday.

Lots of fires in SoCal this week. One in Glendale, paso Robles and one more it san bernadino or riverside county I forget which.

PCH opened up again, all my hiking spots are toast.

Many nice big trees around CSUCI are scorched pretty well, not sure if they'll be back.
