May all Topics ( be like this thread)

Hello fellow FTE'rs, we've made it to May and all that spring brings. :D

Bugs and taxes! WooHoo! ;)

Burned a little Coleman fuel this weekend Sean, that 228 works like a charm. Thank you again :) I think I'll take the big hat up and give it a whirl this week.

I'm still om the lookout for an affordable yellow big hat, might just need to make my own.

I've never seen a Yellow one, big hat or otherwise...didn't know there was such a thing.

Questions adjusters ask:

-Is it a Ford Explorer?

If "yes", ask:

-Is it damaged?

If "yes", total it.

Their opening question was if I wanted to total it.

Found a couple Escapes. '05 with 43k, '06 with 80something. Both $11k. Look clean, leather, nice paint etc, no dings. Found another one at Carmax, about the same money, looks ok but 93k and cloth seats.

Or a older Prius for $10k.....}>

2001/2012 Escape = Basically a rebadged Mazda Tribute. Front legroom is wanting, no telescoping steering wheel is available.

May is know for its spring weather, but up here in the Central valley the temps are in the mid 90's. I think Spring passed us bye. :(

Pretty warmish here, too. Pushing 90 degrees already.

Hope that mess stays away from you Sean, looks like it's taking off with the wind.

Just the opposite where I'm at.

Delta landed this afternoon at MCI at "just above" minimum conditions. About 400 feet and maybe a mile.

The pilot got on the mike and said, "Welcome to Kansas City. Welcome back to winter!"

Watching snow flurries outside the hotel window as I write this. So far, it's not staying on the ground (except the grass) but is sticking to the cars.

Brrrrrrrr.........

I wasn't expecting this, because at about 0900 local here, it was in the 70's.

Hope you brought something warm with you!

We complain if it's raining, we complain if it's not. We complain if it's cold, we complain if it's hot.

It was 98 degrees at 5PM today at the residencia (top a the hill, 100' north of the Whittier city limits).

Basset Hound in avatar pic said she felt right at home, cuz I got her from a dog rescue group in Raisinville.

Spring fire. Started at the conejo grade 101/Wendy in newbury park. Estimated at 6500 acres with over 600 fire personnel on the ground and in the air.

SteveBricks 05-02-2013 09:32 PM

I figured that much :D I was wondering where you took the pics specifically :)
