steering column trouble
hey guys i need some help i just spent the day tearing down my automatic p/s steering column to fix a few problems got it put back together and back in the truck everthing works fine now but even before i tore it down i could pull back on the steering wheel and move the steering rod i know there is a snap ring at the top of rod to keep the rod from moving forward in the housing but i didnt see anything to keep it from moving when i pull toward me i did notice two grooves in the top of the rod but only one had a snap ring im pretty sure the colum is from a 73-76 has anyone else had this problem
