The paint of one of my cars is not good looking. And now I'm going to sell it and want the best possible appearance.
The problem is that the previous owner got it repainted by an amateur. It seems that the metallic layer is ok, but the clearpaint has cracked in the way you sometimes see on old china.
I know waxing helps, but could it be a product other than ordinary car wax that works better?
You may try some scratch remover, many to choose from, to try to reduce the visibility of the crackling. I have seen this before in paint jobs. You may check out the bodywork forum also. They may have some tips and tricks to correct your problem.
I used scratchremover a lot when I bought the car. It really helped! But now the paint is so thin I don't dare anymore. So the question is more if it exist any product that may flow into the cracks, (atleast for a period of time?)
