After nagging alignment problems with my Tough Country lift kit led me to find a crack in the crossmember, I ordered Superlift axle drop brackets to replace the old ones based on the recommendation of both a reputable 4X4 shop and a frame shop. The 4X4 shop said Superlift had a kit for the F150's that included a brace that connected the axle drop brackets making for an extremely strong setup. After a few weeks of fighting, they discovered this brace was only provided with F250 lifts. So, they custom fabricated a brace and welded it in. Their comment was "that front end is never going to move unless you get some major air and bend the whole front end of the truck". Here's the pic from my gallery.
Maybe that's why I like superlift and you don't mustang. Mine doesn't have that stuff. The only bracket of any consequense on mine is the track bar bracket and it's plenty big. Maybe their ifs lifts do suck but for straight axles they are fine.
