gas gauge
hey my gas, gauge has stopped working ever since i dropped my gas tank, i tried re-grounding it a couple of times but im no sure if its good yet. is there any thing else in the sending unit that you guys would suggest lookin at? or any other things i should check. because i love driving around never knowing when your going to run out of gas

Take the sending unit wire off the gas tank and ground it to a good ground. The dash guage should swing one way. Then take it off the ground and let it hang in the air. The dash guage should swing all the way opposite scale. This is a good test for the wiring and the guage. If it passes this test, something must be wrong with the sending unit.
