Props to Rock Auto

I hope it's okay that I post this, as I'm simply a customer of Rock Auto and not affiliated with them in any way. Just wanted to pass along some positive feedback to fellow FTE'ers.

I have been ordering parts from Rock Auto for years; recently I ordered a fuel pump for my '79. Once I got around to installing it, I found the inlet size on the fuel pump was wrong (5/16" instead of 3/8"). I was outside of the return period (39 days instead of 30) and they still let me send it back for store credit. That's just as good as real money since I shop there so often.

I've also had a couple other orders not work out in the past (defective part, etc), and each time they exceeded my expectations. It says a lot about a company that will stand behind their customer service like that.

If you haven't used them before, give them a look - they have a wealth of parts, prices are reasonable, and I prefer navigating a catalog myself vs. driving around to 4 different parts stores on a Saturday. In many cases they have different brands of the same part - they lay it all out and let YOU make the decision which is how it should be. There are no "house brands" that you're stuck with - if someone makes it, there's a good chance it's there. Highly recommended!
