I like the idea of cc/lb/drw 4wd. My suggestion is Cummins with NV4500, or maybe a 6 speed trans of some sort (Allison maybe?). What I think would look nice, is maybe some pimp *** pinstriping on a deep gloss black. Sorta like "vegas cars". Would make a great show truck
I agree with everything but the Allison. Theyre not THAT great of a transmission. Soon as you start adding power, they need upgraded. Besides, Id throw a stick in it!
I also agree with the pin striping! It looks dang good on older trucks as long as its not over done

That's good to know. I'm just starting to learn about diesels of all sizes.
In reality, they are building a truck like you are describing on the TV show Trucks. They took a dodge dually, ripped the body off and put a CC body on it. It is pretty sweet! I am currently out of the country right now so I don't know if they finished it or not.
Honestly, soon as I started this thread I remembered that truck lol. Its one of those that's "on hold" so it probably wont get done for several more months. It currently has all the body on it, painted and is sitting on wheels and tires. Chrome grill, chrome headlight bezels, its pretty sharp! Im actually not sure what all it needs to be done?
