quick question

can anyone tell me what my distributor drive gear is made of? its an 89 bronco 5.0 v8 nothin speacial about it im almost certain its a flat tappet hydraulic cam, they didnt start puttin roller motors in the trucks til 92-93 right?

The 5.0 started being a roller since 1989, so yours could be one.

i think mid year 89 they became roller motors, look at your build date to check.
