During my engine build I decided to fabricate the engine accessory brackets out of plate aluminum.
First I mocked everything up with 1/8 inch plywood:
When I finally got the plywood template the way I wanted it I transferred it to plate aluminum:
Then I cut out the pieces with a jigsaw, cleaned them up on a bench mounted belt sander, and polished them:
I used 3/8 inch aluminum for the alternator and A/C pump bracket. I used 1/4 inch plate for the power steering pump. For the spacers I used 3/4 and 1" aluminum stock, cut to length, and drilled through. I ordered all of the aluminum off of Ebay, I only needed one 12" by 12" plate in 3/8 inch and one in 1/4 inch. Got the rod ends and adjusters off of McMaster-Carr. Pulleys are from CVF racing.
A/C pump is actually used for onboard air, pulled it off of a 90's volvo.
