Straightpipe and MPG
I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I have a 2003 ford F-350 XLT extended cab 4x4. It was my dad's truck and it has 149,000 miles on it and I was thinking about changing the exhaust on it. However, I have a few questions.
1. Will straightpiping the truck increase or decrease the mpg or will it stay the same?
Also, my dad's truck, a 2006 f-350 lariat crew cab is straighpiped and has big exhausts(4'') but it only gets 13 mpg, where as my truck gets 15 mpg
Thanks,
Mike
If you straightpipe it, you will prob LOOSE mileage 'cause you'll push your right foot down harder just to listen to it!
