Lightbulb Who was looking for a $1000 truck??

Someone said they wanted a $1000 project truck. I saw one last night advertised in the newest Hemmings magazine. It was a 56 or a 55, complete, and I believe in Kansas. It is listed with the 53-59 Ford autos, not in the truck section. Good luck, John

Who was looking for a $1000 truck??

Hi Daryl, No I'm not selling mine. There was somebody who answered one of the other conservations over the last 2 days. He said that he was looking for a project truck in the $1000 range. I looked up the one in Hemmings last night and it was a 55 f100 in kansas and it is listed in the 53 and newer autos. BTW, we made our final decision on the paint color. It will be Fire Pepper Red. It's a dark red in the shade, but shows a little metalic sheen in the sun. TAYL, John

I saw a color that sounds just like that today as a matter of fact. Truth be told, I said to myself, "Dang, shoulda painted mine that color; woulda looked clean with the chrome hi-lites and mean in color. Oh well, shoulda-coulda-woulda.... Guess I'm sticking with my "Marashino Cherry Red" for now.....
