Block heater help

Its a DRL plug , its actually hooked up too the electrical system,but no module as the lights dont turn on and off automatically if thats what DRL does.Someone please let me know how the DRL's system works.

Here is a pic showing the DRL harness and plug: Is that what you have? you mentioned: "...... large black plug for, its located and attached to the inside of the drivers side front fender well and looks like a plug thats used to charge industrial forklifts to give you an idea of what it looks like? its about two inchs wide and a half inch high".
