Love the site. I'm a ford truck diehard all the way; It's all I've ever owned, and probably all I ever will own. I've got a 2002 F-250, V-10, Auto, Supercab XLT, shortbed in Black. Previous truck was a '90 Bronco Eddie Bauer 351W Auto 4X4 that made it to the quarter million mile mark.
I've been reading and enjoying the site for quite some time now, and all I can say is that you all are a great group.
Other hobbies include boating...And we all know you need a real truck to haul a boat around.
yo Baja,
Good luck and why did you ditch that outstandingly fine and wonderfully designed and probably the best vehicle ever built in the entire world Bronco? (j/k)
All,
Thanks a million for the warm welcome and kind words!
rrmike, Thanks! It's my other pride and joy...
AlM, I'll tel ya what. I thought I was going to break down when I had to let her go. That truck was so near and dear to me it was amazing. I knew every little square inch like the back of my hand and it treated me very well. Fact is though, that I simply couldn't maintain two vehicles at one time. I desperately needed a reliable vehicle and had nowhere to store another truck. The bronco, in my opinion is definately the best all time truck in the world...nonetheless, after seeing 262,000 miles with original everything(minus 2 tranny rebuilds on the E4OD), the signs of age were beginning to show and there was a lot needing rebuilding. I miss her though.
Jim242002, fishing? I sure do...I enjoy deep-sea fishing off the gulf coast, although I avoid it in my boat. I don't mind getting my buddies' boats dirty, though... My Baja is not a fishing boat if you know what I mean. Nothing like pulling in some 30LB Florida Grouper and throwing it on the grill after a long day out.
retired2001 and SouthernDually, thanks again for the warm welcome!
