I have a DP F6 with 7 tunes. I chose DP because I can try the tunes before I buy all done with teh laptop and interface. I used my towing (80T) tune for the first time this weekend pulling a 8k camper in hilly terrain. The gauges are a necessity to make sure sure teh EGT's dont get above 1250 and begin melting parts. Everyone on FTE recommended gauges first then tuner. I would heed their advice. I waited alomost 6 months saving $ until I could afford the gauges and another 6 months saving for the tuner. Ive been using my DP since October 2012 and the 80E tune is my daily driver and what a difference over the stock settings! I couldnt be happier with the support I received from DP on the installation and some questions they responded to just recently. I prefer human interaction and the personalized service I received from Jody, Diane and the DP gang. Thats my 2cents worth.

The DP F6 and hydra you can have tunes emailed to you, If you ask me (and a lot of others) that's the way to go. I have a F6 and love it, I also have an Infinity for my gauges and diagnostics. More than likely whoever you go with you will be happy, from what I've heard most tuners will fine tune for you if there is a problem with drivability when you install the chip, Smoking, hard shifting, ect.

I only know about DP and am really happy with my tunes and customer service, they always respond pretty quickly to emails and when calling have always been really helpful.

I hear what your saying but for me I am not planning on any big engine or transmisson upgrades. The DP F5 is great for my application which is for towing. It has really made a difference in that area for my truck. Maybe if I ever move to the mountains I could see sending the chip back in for some mountain tunes but not likely. Lap Top tuning is not my bag, I would just as soon leave it to the pro's but that is why choices are a good thing.
