I just bought a 2005 F350 4x4 and am new to the Ford truck world. I want to put on a 2" front leveling kit and am leaning toward a bottom mount spacer kit. Do any of you have a preference to any certain brand? Also, are any other type of brackets necessary to maintain the front end geometry or can I get away with just the 2" pucks? I don't do any serious off roading just don't like the nose down look. Thanks in advance guys
I used Ready Lift. It has the spacers in the bottom and some shock relocation mounts along with the track bar mounts. I have had it on for 5 years with no problems. My tires rub with my stock wheels at full lock, but do not rub at all with my aftermarket wheels.
I did the ready lift billet spacers with 4 inch rear blocks and I love it. Still a slight rake, but looks good and don't require extensions brackets etc.
Yes. I can get some pics/measurements if you like. Also what springs do you have in the front? C codes with the 2.5 kit actually make it a bit nose high from buddies trucks, but results may vary.
Yes I have the C codes and didn't want to end up nose high, thats why I was thinking 2" at the most. Don't mind it a little nose down just wanted it closer than it is right now.

If you stay with a 1.5" you shouldn't need the shock brackets but if you are replacing them anyway just buy them a little longer. Not positive on the track bar mounts, but I think if you lift it at all you will need them. I didn't notice any difference with my factory wheels but with my offset on my aftermarket wheels it was obvious. As far as shocks are concerned, I believe 5000 are more suitable for 1/2 ton trucks and 9000 are more suitable for 3/4 and 1 tons.

I tend to agree with this on a personal level. The 5000's are a great shock for a 3/4 or 1 ton, but the adjustablity of the 9's are REALLY nice if you are towing often.
Check out the 7000mt too! They ride good, and control the Super Duty pretty well. I will know more about how they handle towing, more this weekend, but I don't forsee any problem's.
