Speaker Upgrade?

My 2013 F250 XLT has the standard stereo system. I have no intention of adding an amp, woofers, or any of that stuff and I'm not going to change out the radio because SYNC and steering wheel controls. My question is, would I gain anything by upgrading the speakers to 3-way or 4-way?

This is just my .02, but I would say yes and no. If you are not planning to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit that would push more to the speakers then it is a waist. at the same time with having 3 or 4 way speakers you will hear a difference but it will be limited due to the fact that your oem head unit is not giving the aftermarket speakers the power they can handle. Like I said just my .02

Throw some low power boston acoustics S85 speakers in.

Great sounding speakers for head unit power.

My father has an 07 F150 and I just put those in it with no amplification. Of course I also installed a pioneer 80prs headunit so I cant tell you how they would sound on stock headunit.
