New to me
I m picking up a buddy's old work van today . He is scrapping it out . He was going to pull out the v10 and trans and scrap the rest, will he is tiered of it bing in his shop so he is giving it to me so I can take all the v10 stuff out for a engine swap !
can you guys help with a list of what I should keep from the truck to make it work in a older truck ? Thanks for the help! I think it has over a 100,000 miles on it , I ll know more later today when I get it home. I will post the details about the truck tonight

My dad's service van ('99 E-350) has over 190k miles and it has never had a problem, just regular preventative maintenance and replacing items that wear out with time (tires, brake pads, wheel bearings, ball joints).
You'll be able to get a good look at everything while it's out. Good score.

That would be a cool project. I would keep the whole thing minus the body. You will never know what you need and would be good to have if needed. I really want to build a truck like you have. I found a late 50's White 3000 that I would love to build, but I don't have a place to store it until I could start building it.
