Power steering pump
I have 212k miles on my 06 and have been thinking about replacing my weak PS pump. It works but its getting noisy. I already flushed everything and refilled fluid about a yr ago. I am getting ready to pull a RV down to Big Bend and don't want any problems on vacation, are there any units that work better than Ford? I've heard most people say the pumps are weak. trying to figure out what to do with it.

Some people are just never happy...
Stock pump is fine, some do a Saginaw conversion or opt for an AGR unit.

Just based on people's comments here. If I am going to replace it I always improve if possible. That's why I put a new high output alternator. If the best is stock that's fine just looking for options

I've got 673k mi on my stock pump. However it's getting a lil noisy also,,, freakin pos!!! Lol. No but I'm prob gonna go with an Oreillys lifetime pump. Mine make a bit of noise at times also,,, it's a whiner. Lol

I put a little 75w-90 in the PS fluid. That bumped up the oil pressure a bit. stiffer break pedal and easier steering.
