85 STEERING COLUMN Info Request
Hi Everybody,
In the past I've changed the actuator, actuator rod, ignition switch, turn signal cam, tumbler, and shift column bowl/ring as well as overbored some holes to install larger pins to tighten up my 85 column so I am familiar with working on it. Now that I switched to a new truck (another 85), it's got the same slop issues my old 85 had. Maybe worse!
I just bought a column out of an 85 F350 from a junkyard with the intention of rebuilding it completely on a bench before throwing it in the truck (along with a remanufactured steering box from Red Head). My question is, does anyone have a schematic with the part numbers on it, or just the part numbers of all of the bearings? Would like to replace them all while doing some other mods as well and can't seem to find them in the forum. Thanks to all seventh generation-ers!
Also, if anyone has any steering column/steering tips always like to hear them.

Steering columns are a pain to work on. Here's the only info I have.

Now why didn't I think of LMC...I only have the catalog sitting two feet from my desk? Thanks...and yeah, the first time I took one apart I thought I'd never do it again...tight, unfriendly spaces....
