that's an impressive van, but 12G? that's asking a lot.
Ideally, i want my van to eventually have all that van claims to have. But it's really suspicious to me that the seller doesn't have a picture of the rear (I assume "remote") mounted turbo, the engine compartment, and the OD.
And the seller is being a bit of a jag by saying there is only 11,000 miles on it. Just because there isn't a 6th digit, doesn't mean he doesn't know the real mileage.
There is a lot there that adds a good deal of value, like the GVOD ($2K+), 4x4 ($2K+), Power everything, AC (if it works), etc etc etc, BUT 12K??? It does have some things that detract from its potential value, like some decent rust, only one bench seat (and it's the four-seater, which makes it hard to put anywhere but the rear), the treads look a little light too, etc.
His original $12,000 ebay auction timed out. no takers. He's relisted it at $10,000, which in my opinion is still twice the value of the van. I think he won't have any takers until his reserve is less than $5000, probably $4200.
Unless it is indeed a remote mounted turbo.....witch gives a new question of....WHERE?
But the turbo mounts on vans looks alot like the hypermax on trucks. Turbo is mounted way at the back of the engine, so when you pop off the doghouse, the turbo is right there, and you have 0 room to touch anything, from the back, or front of the engine.
You'd have to give ME 5k to even think about taking a turbo van into my fleet!
I like this one though, other than the windows and interior color, has a nice stance, and can't believe i'm actually saying this, but he could put abit bigger tires on it.... stock ones would look nice on this!
I know I have a pic somewhere in my hoard of van photos of a turbo van engine, but can't find it.
Man I wish my 4x4 though, be so much fun! It would level it out to goes down the the road with a nose dive look.

I've always thought about where to put a remote turbo on my van, and I thought this would be a good guide for installation: (However.... i think the van's step-down would conflict with the location... hard to say until one tries it.)
One day left on his second 4x4 Van ebay auction. If no one buys it this time, it's a good cautionary tale that adding functionality to your older vehicle doesn't always translate to monetary value.
And here I thought this was going to be a John Elway superbowl thread...
I'm not sure I understand why a remote mount is necessary. I just replaced a set of return lines in an E350 MH and was surprised at how much room there was under the doghouse. I didn't take any measurements but I though there was enough room for an ATS under there. The only thing I could think of that would certainly need changing is the fabrication of a remote air filter and intake tube. Or has anyone tried making a slightly more accommodating doghouse? Seems that would be simpler than trying to fab up all of those pipes and an oil return system.
