I have searched for this and found a couple threads that were pretty old but I was still curious...
I have been thinking of adding a bug shield/hood protector to my
08' F-250 Supercab. In particular I am looking at the "Behing the Grill" mounted bug shield...the chrome one. Does anyone have one of these on there truck? Does it really help? I had a traditional one on my 99' F-350 and it looked fine but I wasn't sure it really helped with bugs.
I found that AVS and ERG make the "Behind the Grill" bug shield in smoke and chrome. I think STANLEY has one of the smoked shields on his truck. If anyone has one of these (especially the chrome one) can you post an opinion about it's performance and maybe a photo? I have spent too much money on things I don't use and didn't want to make the same mistake again if I didn't have too...Thanks!
Clint
