Why would someone do that!!!

Was driving around today in Michigan (the Thumb) and ran across a 99 dually for sale. I was stunned! Why in the world would anyone want to sale their 7.3! I love mine. (Look at my signature and you'll have a clear grasp of my shock!)

I almost stopped to confront the guy and see what was wrong with him!!!

Some people just have no common sense. Sad part is that he may have bought a Ram or Cheevie to replace it.

Sadly, if the 7.3L didn't exist... I'd have a Cummins. I've thought about the 6.0 long and hard and it's just not worth the effort to make one reliable and the 6.4 is no more reliable IMO.. One of the biggest benefits to a diesel is reliability. The only two engines that have that reliability w/ some decent power is the 7.3 PSD and 5.9 Cummins NOT common rail.
