Having problems finding a part

I have a 97 Ford F250 5.8L. Truck is being rebuilt. Tanks are new along with sending units. We lost 1 vent valve (which goes into the smaller hole in the tank and has 2 hoses coming off). I am having problems finding a new one (without spending an arm and a leg...LMC $119, dealer, if they can get it...$77). Is there any way of either making one or using a one port instead of 2? Are there any other sources for this part? Any ideas would be appreciated.

sounds a little pricey for a vent valve >I can't say for sure if a one port one will work or not .Have you tried a junk yard for a used one? One question do you know where the 2 hoses are going? I would say one to carbon canister the other ID have to look at my 95 F250 tomorrow .
