I believe 06 is on the money for the year of the change.
I know one of the things we all say is we should see 12 amps on our meters when fully activated (I say it too), but I seldom see more than 10 -10.5 on my meter, but even at that you will feel plenty of stopping power.
On my after-market control, I have it set to 20% boost when I first hit the pedal and I can easily feel that when I am slowing.
