96 f250 electrical

i have a 96 F250 diesel accessories stay on after ignition is turned off. i cant remember when they used a gem module or battery saver module. any help would be usefull

stay on all the time, or stay on for a few minutes?
if they stay on all the time, the ignition actuator in the steering column may be bad, or the ignition switch may be out of alignment.
