Really puzzling me. Interior looks all original. It's got grey seat and door panels, but tan seat belts, off white sun visors (no headliner), and what looks like dark blue carpet. It really looks like it came from the factory that way, based on wear and known owner history.
Did people in the 60's just go crazy with the colors?? Can I somehow confirm this is all factory?
Vin decoder shows my trim (J) is F100/250 (81B) Pastel parchment crinkle vinyl and light parchment granada pattern vinyl.
What does that tell me? Trying to get this figured out and would really appreciate any help
I understand parchment is tan color. What I'm trying to figure out is what the difference is between light and pastel parchment. What parts are light and what parts are pastel. Correct seat belt/carpet/headliner/door panel/seat color.
I'm just trying to make sure the interior stays as original as possible as I restore it. So if there is anybody that knows, or knows of a resource for this, I'd appreciate it.
Can't believe I made this thread 4 years ago. Still wondering about it though now that I'm back doing work to the truck. I've since put in a headliner and painted it parchment. Still wondering about everything else in the OP though if anybody can help! Truck is a Ranger.
My truck also has a strange combination of colors. Looks like a blue dash cover. Blue steering column, black seat, and tan seat belts. Could be that someone pulled all of those parts from other trucks but it's hard to tell.

Yeah my dash is black and my column/wheel are parchment which look fine. But I don't know if the seat/door panels/carpet/belts are original and have just discolored over 50 years or what.
I thought i had a pdf of a 68 brochure that list exterior /interior color combos .
couldn't find it . a Marti report should give you all the details .
Ok thanks, was pretty sure it wasn't stock seat cover and door panel covering. What might be under the upholstered door panels? Now back to my original question about my Vin plate. What does the J code tell me? I want to put everything exactly stock as it came from factory.
Also, what's this attached to the back of the Seat?
