Thumbs up Help me on my engine build!

Okay yall, soooo im going to start funding for my mild engine build.

When i bought my truck the owner said it was rebuilt and had a Lunati Voodoo cam. I have NO idea which it is or a part number. It also has a MSD ignition, shortys and that looks to be it as far as aftermarket is concerned

I want to bump it up some. I was debating having it .30 over but i dont want to go that far into it. I would like some new heads, a aggressive cam, new exhaust, new fuel delivery system and new upper and lower intakes.

I am just confused and dont know what will work with a stock block and stock pistons as far as heads are concerned.

---Upper and lower intake will be the edelbrock permormer truck intake (#3881) WITH a 1.0" heat spacer from trickflow(TFS-51520009)

---New fuel rails (on summit-#PFS-10601)

What heads do i use with stock bore and stock pistons? I dont want gt40 heads. I know they are a good upgrade but i want to go for a new set.

What cam do i use to compliment the heads?

Do i have to change the injectors to like 24lb/hr or bigger?

Do i need a bigger fuel pump? etc etc

Sorry for all the questions, im a newb

all help is sooo very appreciated!

What are you primarily looking for more low rpm towing power or topend horsepower?
Is the exhaust stock besides the headers?
Do you have a budget for EFI and fuel system upgrades?

Aftermarket heads and intake that require larger injectors will also require a MAF conversion with a tuner and fuel system upgrades, you can't just throw in larger injectors and fuel pump and expect the stock EFI system to work correctly.

Well, im looking for both. Im looking to just wake the truck up.
The exhaust is shortys into a y pipe that leads into a 2 1/2 pipe and cuts off right after the cab. no exhaust, no cats

I do have a budget of about 5,000.

Ill try to read up on the MAF conversion so I dont ask tomany stupid questions, but how much would a tune cost?

Thus being said, is there a specific heads i could use that utilizes stock bore, stock pistons and still pair up to the edelbrock performer intake? Id like to use RR to, 1.6?

Just get an A9L Computer out of a Mustang 5.0 if you want to convert to MAF.
